Shipping Information

All wagons, will be delivered to your door using a pump or pallet truck, packaged in our own purposefully designed wooden crate bearing full identification.



Delivery to UK mainland England and Wales


All shipping charges are calculated and shown in the checkout area before proceeding to payment.


* We reserve the right to charge for packaging and shipping costs to mainland UK destinations for bespoke wagons or designs weighing heavier or larger than our own suitable standardised crates and will advise you during the design phase.


* Due to  certain distance or geographical locations, fees do vary;  Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Lundy, Skomer Island, Skokholm Island, Ramsey Island, Caldey Island, Bardsey Island, Farne Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland,  Highlands of Scotland.  All shipping costs will be shown at checkout before ordering but see the Shipping Table at the foot of this page for reference.

We are able to take secure payments for orders through this website and accept most major debit cards or Paypal.


Dispatch


We dispatch all orders as soon as possible.  If an item is listed in stock we should have it ready for dispatch, usually within 2 days.  We cannot offer or promise a same/next day dispatch.  If you need your order by a specific date please contact us (sales@cambrianrail.co.uk)  and we will do what we can to help.


UK Delivery


We use these methods to send orders, dependent on size and weight;

Royal Mail or a pallet service with tailgate and pump truck delivery to your door.

Overseas Delivery


We are happy to ship outside the UK.  Please contact us and we will be able to quote a shipping price.  We also have a "Global Shipping Form" you may wish to complete.

Delivery Information and Timescales


We only use reputable couriers to deliver our products to our customers.


Approximate timescales for shipping and delivery to customer destinations will be highlighted during checkout.  However please note these may vary depending on the courier services we use. 


We will contact our customers whenever possible, via the email address provided to us, should there be any unforeseen delays.




Delivery destinations to; 

NIR, EU, USA & Canada, Australia & New Zealand


Deliveries to USA and Canada will need to apply their import duties

Deliveries to Australia and New Zealand will need to apply their import duties

Deliveries to EU may have to pay import duties.

Deliveries to GB-NIR may have to pay import duties.




Import Duties and Tax for your country



It is important that our customers are aware that International parcels may have customs duties and taxes applied.


The cost of these fees will vary depending on the item we're sending, the value and the country we're sending to.  All parcels and crates sent through our delivery service are sent Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) which means the duty will need to be paid by our customer when it arrives in the destination country. 


Customers need to make themselves aware of any liability for import duties that there may be.


Customs will contact our customer receiving the item to collect payment before the parcel can be delivered to the destination address.  It is important that our customers provide accurate information to enable this process to go smoothly.


Unfortunately, delays can occur in customs and there is sometimes nothing that can be done until they have taken the time to clear the goods for our customers. Cambrian Railway Engineering Limited or our courier service has no control over this.

We do not have direct contact with customs, we liaise with the courier we booked through to help resolve any issues.



Cambrian Railway Engineering Limited accept no responsibility for paying import duties and tax for any country outside of the UK mainland.  It is up to the customer to have calculated this in with the total cost  of their item and we cannot refund for any oversight on behalf of the customer in respect of this.




Returns, problems and advice.


Please contact us via email (sales@cambrianrail.co.uk) for advice or any issues you may have with your product, within 14 days of receipt of your item.  We will endeavour to rectify any issues you may have either through refund or exchange.  Always contact us before returning an item as we may be able to resolve the problem.  Thank you.
